In the Dream Realm, ten guardians known as the Dekas ensure harmony and protection over children as they sleep. Since the fall of the Boogey Man and Bloody Mary, nightmare activity has been monitored the Gunners, a cowboy-like police force, tasked with frequent purges to keep these threats at bay. Ordered by the Dekas, these purges are crucial for the realm's longevity. Beneath this world lies The Pit, a shadowy abyss where defeated nightmares gather and plot their return.
The Pit
In a place where nightmares dwell lie the ruins of forsaken attractions from above. Dark, dismal, and seemingly endless, it is a land with no end.
Terminology
Dekas/ Deka Council
Ten imaginary friends who vanquished the evil that once threatened the land. Now they rule together over the Dream Realm ensuring peace and longevity of their world.
Gunners
A cowboy police/military unit that operates with the Deka Council to maintain peace, and order for the safety of children.
Nightmares
Dark, sinister creatures that prey on children and imaginary friends for their amusement, comprised of both manifestations of fear and rogue imaginary friends.
Imaginary Friends
Fierce warriors created by children to protect their masters from harm. Loyal to their specific child, it's their duty to put their life on the line to protect children and the Dream Realm.
